Sorry that we didn't spot you at RAF Cranwell today Chrisity, were you there?
The course was snow covered and they had to reroute it as the hill was to dangerous apparently, but it was a good run

no, sorry. i couldn't face the travel and we had a team (who would all beat me so i wasn't going to be useful anyway). I did 14 miles with some club mates on our snowy hills instead. i'll be at Wollaton Park though, since it is about 3 miles from my house.

Tough going at Burbage Common in the Birmingham league today - 3 laps, ground frozen into ruts on the first lap, by the time the field had been round once, it was every increasing degress of slush and mud for the next two laps. What xc's all about - a good tough workout that you wouldn't get on the boring old tarmac

Pretty much the same at Perry Barr although all 3 laps were "increasing degress of slush and mud" as I started late so was at the back for most of the first lap.

Found Culham (oxford xc) very tough.
Have a stinking chesty cough and shouldnt have run really but needed to incase someone didnt show. And guess what our top runner who won it last month didn't! I did more than get round I was behind someone who I normally have the edge over but only just. Hopefully beat 16th place from last month and the team held there own again. As for the course was very churned up mud really collected on the stretches making the double hills tough.
County champs next week hope to be fit taking the day off again tommorow.
