My first race is the first one in the Ryston Cross Country GP series which is in about six weeks. I'm sneaking off to Gog Magog for some hills on Sunday instead of a long run and I'll do the long run during the week. The first Frostbite is next month too and that's held on the county XC championship course. We don't have another lumpy, muddy one in that series for a couple of months which is a bit of a shame. I'll miss the Ampthill Trophy this year because it clashes with Amsterdam but that's probably just as well. My Nike Waffle spikes are clean and ready to go. They've been waiting patiently all summer for me to dig them out and get them filthy again. They like a bit of rough.

RichHL Sep 2012 7:17pm, 7 Sep 2012 4,948 posts	0 RichHL Frostbite is the one the Riversiders run in. Ryston is all up at Shouldham Warren in Norfolk. Ampthill is a one-off. I think C&C have joined another league for this season but I can't remember which one.
