Last league Essex league for me too (and first, I tend to do the more informal South Essex Sunday league) It's in Epping forest so I'll be looking out for the dead bodies of drug dealers and deer. I'm planning on cycling there too. :-)

I'm just off to go XC racing in Dudley. Life doesn't get much more glamorous than that. ;-)

Baggeridge Park (Dudley) is lovely, much nicer than the dog-poo commons of Coventry! :)

Buggerage Park, Badly? *rubs eyes*

Oh, my mistake. Sorry.

Frostbite tomorrow in March. It clashes with the Ryston GP series which I really love but the club is on a three-line whip for the Frostbite so I'm off to run round a prison in the Fens instead of through some woods in Norfolk.

XC champs last week for me and 3rd league fixture today. Both were good races for me.

Well the BAGGERidge course has to be one of my favorite courses ever. It was a great day for it, and the views from the top where the trig point is were amazing (I didn't appreciate this as the time of running but we had a little WD up and down it to take some photos) :)

Had a great run, comparable pace to last weeks Counties, but this week with far more and far far steeper hills. I shall be sad when the XC season is over, will have to find some off roady parkruns to occupy my mudlust.

Last league fixture today was superb. A good tough muddy hilly course. 9k in 33:08 for me, 2nd home for the club, and we finished 4th in the league behind 3 very strong clubs. Our vets won overall in the age category as well :)

Just the nationals at Falkirk in February now, but I might head along to an open XC race in March that the club have in our GP as I think I'm a race short and in with a shout of a top 3 finish :)

Got the Riverbank Rollick tomorrow did it last year and loved every minute of it. 9 miles of proper Xc my only problem is that the trail shoes I meant to get over the Xmas period I never got. Thus tomorrow will consist of lots of sliding and running with my arms out a la 1977 in the school playing ground pretending to be a plane..............d'oh

Bad news about the Southern Champs this Saturday. We've had a letter from SEAA explaining that due to an FA Cup football match at the Amex stadium on Saturday evening there will be no carparking available there. Coaches & minibuses can still use the stadium coach-park, but only if they are removed before 15:50, which is useless for most clubs as the Senior Men will still be running.
