We got that note too. This is why footballism should be banned. Dreadful practice.

The Uni also has an open day apparently... will be a few extra vehicles about due to that as well.

Bugger, I was going to try parking there. It's a conspiracy.

There's around 20 from our club going. 1 minibus plus 3 cars, I think. My guess is the minibus will have to drop off the passengers then go down into Brighton. I'll likely be the driver, so it'll give me long enough, I hope, to get back to the venue before the Senior race.
The end of the day could be pure chaos though.
Ho hum.

It looks like being a fine day for tomorrow's English National on Parliament Hill. It's the final XC of the season for me, so I'd like to make a good run of it. I wonder if it's very muddy - has anyone run there recently?
Good luck to everyone running it.

oi you, in the past I've turned up at Parliament Hill and thought the course isn't muddy, but come the senior races it still becomes a quagmire.

Could be muddy then. AW reckon there are more than 8000 entries. More than enough to churn it up.

I thought it was a bit less muddy than last year's SEAA Champs at Parli Hill, but it was the muddiest of all the XC I've done this season. The drought in the SouthEast really is pretty bad.
Anyway I can put the spikes away for now and kick off again in October. My highlight of the year was finishing as highest placed Vet60 in the Kent League - didn't get a prize but I've not let that stop me telling anyone unable to get out of the way in time.
