So the UN have kicked Russia off the Human Rights Council. I wonder if their seat at the Security Council is also being considered? I have a pet theory that it's better to have them there and (in theory) answerable for the time being.

The UK Defence Journal has tweeted that British Harpoon missiles have been delivered to Odessa! It's tagged as "unlikely and unverified" and sadly, I have to say that it might well be fake news. It would be nice to think otherwise though, I'd love to see the effect of one of those things on a Russian ship.

They look a tidy bit of kit NE. It’ll be interesting if the news isn’t ‘fake’

There is a submarine launched variant too. Spent many a night cuddling one.

You sort of get used to it. I've also cuddled Tomahawk cruise missiles and numerous torpedos. What happens is that specialist riders/SF don't get their own pit in the mess and sleep in the WSC in fiberglass racks that are clipped on to the torpedo rack rails. It does sober the mind sleeping next to a large amount of high explosive, but on the plus side they make tremendous heat sinks in very warm conditions. Link below is of the WSC on Sceptre, I've been on most of those Swiftsure-class boats. iwm.org.uk |

This is probably a better pic, it shows the rack rails quite clearly iwm.org.uk |

I hope the Ukrainian government does not turn a blind eye to this if it is true bbc.co.uk

I was wondering the same Daisy. It makes it hard to take the moral high ground when your own forces are guilty of similar crime. I hope it's an isolated incident.

My cousin spent a career doing as little as possible in submarines. I visited a few times when they were alongside and can vouch for the quality of the accommodation. Not much space, and none of it spare!!
