A good piece in my humble opinion. In brief: The US and West should stop the leaks and whines and cut the Ukrainians some slack.

Think I agree, perhaps it's the west who should be grateful that Ukraine's efforts keep London out of range.

Indeed. Someone calculated that the total amount of aid given to Ukraine by the US amounts to a single-figure percentage of the Pentagon's budget. Which given the way Ukraine is using it to waste the Russian military, supposedly a near-peer force, makes it a pretty good investment.

I don't know what proportion of our defence budget has been donated to Kyiv but the same reckoning applies and we can surely give more.

I agree, while no war at all is the preferred position ( put that in... Well you know why) draining the resources and potential from the largest aggressor currently wandering around the planet has to be a good investment and if your can do that at a bargain then why wouldn't you do more of it?

It's almost painfully obvious now that the F16's or something equivalent are the final wedge Ukraine need to get the job done to paraphrase Churchill. If they could counter artillery from the air or at least stop the Russians countering their artillery/armour from the air then we'd have no 500 metre a week Somme like advances through minefields, things would happen quicker and I'd bet Russian morale would crumble with an imminent threat as opposed to sitting in will prepared positions work little threat. Ultimately it would save casualties surely?

The Russian curriculum is being imposed on the occupied parts of Ukraine. All part of the erasure of national identity, all part of the genocide.

Fucks sake, only 10 delivered so far, that gives Ukraine about 20 superior tanks against about a thousand second rate things, but even those can get lucky.

No wonder progress is slow.

Good to see Ukraine investigating this Fields. In Russia they would be imprisoned for criticising the war.
