Going back to the Streakfly, I do find it funny that it's probably a marathon shoe five years ago.

I have quite a few Baz but many of them that I just don't really want to part with despite them having a lot of miles on the clock. I have some original ZoomFly and some peg turbos each with 700 miles on that I still like to break out for the occasional run.

My thoughts exactly SPR. I was thinking that they look like a fast version of an adidas Boston or Tempo that we all wore back in 2016 / 7.

The thought of a sub 3 tattoo crossed my mind but was quickly dismissed :-)

I have seen a few with "26.2" written on their calf in fairly small writing, then with a tally of how many marathons they've done. Often it may be something like "26.2

"....

The "super-flat" - lower stack, superfoam, full/partial plate, "ideal for 5k/10k" - Nike Streakfly, NB SC Pacer, adidas Takumi Sen 8

Looks like this is the new niche that the shoe comanies are trying to get us to spend our money on.

just google it Gobi and I think you'll be a little shocked....unless you secretly have the tree + 25 volunteer, 50, 100, 250, 500 parkrun milestones 'somewhere' on your body!

and I once stood on the start line of a local 10k and the guy next to me had a full calf tattoo of the London Marathon badge with 3:21 proudly within the ink.

I might be doing him a disservice and it might have been 3:17 but all the same it made me chuckle! He obviously wasn't a good convertor as I ran 37:xx and only just beat him!

(My previous post didn't work. Sometimes it is basically a tally with, say, three lines).
