I brought some Pegasus 38 with the 25% discount as training shoe.

How many miles do you get from them ?

It's basically the same as the pegasus 37 - I just retired mine at 640 miles.

The upper and outsole are still in excellent condition. At 500 miles, the react midsole felt really good and I was sure I would get over 1000 miles. However the about 610 miles, left foot started feeling flat, followed soon after by the right.

I land mid to forefoot and I think maybe the zoom airbag has gone?

What do you think best for 5 miler on Sunday 4% ? VF Next % or AF

Peg 37s with 1,800 miles in them, just starting to wear through but a few miles left.

I’m wearing my VF Next on Sunday.

HoD I’d go with the least used pair. I’m running in AF this Sunday at the Hatfield 5

Blimey, people wear shoes way beyond my limit

About to bin my pair of 4% training shoes.

Done 3 to 5 hundred miles. I don't do enough to be overly worried.

I generally wear shoes pretty much till they split or the soles fall apart and despite being over 80kg I seem to be quite light on wear. But my original VF are definitely a bit flat-footed compared to new, and I wouldn’t wear them in any serious race now.

Macca's shoes look fine to me for daily training. Only issue with wear is if it's uneven and means the shoe is sloping in or out due to lateral wear.
