A bit strange that you cant use the promo code on the Vaporfly but you can on the Alphafly. Maybe the Alphafly's not been selling that well and trying to clear some stock for a v2 ?

I am tempted with those at that price, but I've not tried them before. It is my birthday soon and I was going to get a new pair of Vaporflys, but I am tempted with those Alphas. I know it is subjective and they've been around for some time now, but how do people on here find the differences between the AF and VFs? I worry the AFs look quite clunky, but I do know others who say that they find them totally fine to run in.

Yep Alphafly as low as £156 delivered and reasonable availability size wise. That's a very good price.

Interesting that the Vaporfly Next% are excluded from promotions, if you want a pair of fuglies in garish red it's 269.95 and not a penny less.

TopCashback are also offering 15% cashback on all Nike purchases for 24 hours, it might not track but I can't see anything in the T&Cs saying no code/promo stacking.

I think AF feel a bit more of a lump and marginally more unstable, they weigh about 10% more than VF. Probably a smidge quicker than VF for me, but not a lot in it.

The 15% cashback seems to track fine, so brings the AF price down to £132 - roughly half the original price

thanks chaps, I just purchased my 1st pair of AF (flyknit) on the back of this chat. Hopefully they'll encourage me to continue on the comeback trail :-)

I have just ordered a pair. In the unlikely event I don't like them I will send them back and use my birthday code on a pair of Vapoflys instead (presuming the code will work on them, like it usually does) .

Think Nike have stopped taking birthday codes on Promo Exclusions, which has meant no discounts on Vaporfly in recent months, but might change in the future.

Tempted here too but with just 59 miles on last years Vaporfly Next I couldn’t justify it to myself. The peg 37s at £55 for a training shoe were a different story though (current pair on 1800 miles 👀).
