Great achievement Nelly, well done. Great feeling to be finishing strongly and catching people. Means you judged and paced it perfectly, imho! :-)G

Paul with your record of sub 3.15s I don't think you've got much room to talk ;-)

G you are probably right, I paced it perfectly, although that was about 10seconds a mile quicker than I thought I was currently capable of!

Well done emdee - great run at Gloucester. I Enjoyed it there but after xc & NTRIX the weekend before I played it safe at Gloucester, Ran the first 13 at mara pace then switched to long run pace, finished in 3:45 felt good and the first half gave me an indication of what may be possible :-)

Very easy 4 miles at lunch today means I have hit 100 miles for January. I can definitely feel the extra miles in the legs so no speedwork for me this week. I'll just concentrate on some easy miles. I am going away at the weekend so I might struggle to get a 14 miler in at the weekend so this might be an impromptu cutback week.
