Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ah, the old 55-70 mile 572-week plan. Never fails (if you discount folk who drop out) :-)

Beard trimmed riggsy? Trimmed? Surely there's a couple of seconds to be gained by being clean-shaven.

Who's our best bearded 3:15-er? I can't even think of one right now, but that's me being dopey surely.

Joe was bearded for a while wasn't he? But generally no, we're not a very hirsute lot. Mostly buzz cut for maximum aerodynamics I think?

11 year plan? Lol, so PB again at 62 years old Bazo?! :-) G

Bearded since Bradley Wiggens started winning the tour in 2012 getting it trimmed at irregular intervals

Beards are great for runners sun protection in the summer, keeps the cold of in the winter

I fall into the bearded category and have for a few years. Tend not to let it get too long though apart from in the depths of winter.

It would take me the length of Baz's plan to grow a decent beard...

I'm bearded and that doesn't affect my running too much.
