Sorry sir!
I did 10 fairly gentle miles with Mim on Saturday. The last 2 weeks have been low mileage (for me) - both under 25 miles. I should put that right this week and be back in the mid 30s.
Looking at entering Wilmslow half on 25 March as a last sharpener before FLM.

I'll only be doing one race (being a hilly 12.5km race which starts and finishes in the village we live) other than my planned marathon (Anglesey in September - not yet entered). I'm trying to put the miles in over winter, with a once a week speed session thrown in - I'll be going through the Hal Higdon book in the next couple of months or so to use one of his programmes in the build up to the marathon.
I'm just really enjoying the running at the moment - and reading the various threads on this site (have been finding the sub 2h45m thread, in particular, very interesting.

Tempted to "join" the 2h45m but because this will be my 1st marathon and it is, I understand quite a hilly one, I don't want to put any pressure on myself by setting "tight" targets (I think the winner did it in 2h45m last year!). I feel that with the way my running has been going and with, hopefully, the opportunity to do more training in the future (including joining a local club) there is a sub 2h45m marathon in me. Time, as they say, will tell!
