TMW, Thankyou for your comments. I will see how things go. I am hoping to put in the miles over the winter and I will re-assess the target in the new year. Ideally, I would like to do more mileage and join a local club, but, given, in particular, family commitments this isn't really possible at the moment (perhaps in a couple of years time!).

3:33 - nightmare headwind especially on the final lap and some challenging undulations so not a day for a fast time. Announcer said I was 8th woman as I crossed the line though, so overall well pleased

And 360... Running with the 3:15 people at FLM makes for a reasonable race! I was in pen 2 in 2006, and running at race pace as I crossed the line.. never got held up... and ran 3:16 when the most I was hoping for was 3:20.
Well raced Katie!
