Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Anyone racing this weekend?

I've a week to go now. Taper has been going well, if maybe a little too fast on some runs. A week and a bit to go for me.

Daviec - enjoy the taper, i am also starting my taper but no race till the 14th of october. i think though that El Bee is in Berlin and MatttheRat is doing the GRN so best of luck to those two, and everyone else have a good weekend of running / tapering whatever

My 20th wedding anniversary was last night so didn't get out, so hopefully get a few miles tonight then away on a course but at least the hotel has a gym so may get a bit done friday night.

I'm doing Berlin, but think that 3:20 might be more realistic. Still not decided...

Bets placed on El Bee and KinkyS for Berlin so best of luck and have a great race.

Go for the sub 3:15 Kinky, you'll kick yourself if you feel good at the end of a 3:20 marathon wondering if you could have done it!! have fun whatever you decide.
