Go Hillck - fell races are great in the summer evenings.
I ran Snowdonia Half today - 2000ft of ascent including a 1 in 7 hill miles 11-12 - amazing race really. I worked my way through the field and up to 2nd at the top of the 1 in 7. Held on to the finish to put the thread on the podium. 2nd in 1.24

Bob- when are you not racing? Im picturing mini Bobs silverware on the floor as another new one is added after this weekend? I thought you might have been temped with the cader race? Crazy that they are both on at the same time. Good work.
Highgate was something else to watch. Id say Dewi is the closes thing to Steve Pre in 2016. Cheered Jase on from Somerset too.Im going next year, thats it. (Note not racing)

Haha strict quality control on the trophy table means that only my VLM has been accepted this year - hard to compete with the mini-Bob's national medals etc.
Cader would be awesome in clearer weather but Llanrwst just round the corner from our place in Wales and more suitable for my workmates.
I enjoyed catching up with Highgate on Vinco. Agreed must go to experience the beer tent etc. rather than getting lapped in the F race.

Congratulations bob on your snowdonia half.
My lack of experience on the trails showed up badly this weekend. 4th place in my 16 miles round keswick, felt ok but I just can't keep up with the fell runners on the down hills. Still good fun. Fortunately mrs nonk got on the podium in the 1.5k swim.

4th sounds pretty good Ninky Nonk and yeah those guys know how to run down hills. You might feel it in your quads today and tomorrow.
TC - no, micro-Bob has decided against running Euro trials in Kewsick (if that's what you mean). I'm racing on Sunday at Buxton Half.
