Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Welcome SC, definitely agree about faster with others, can't wait for parkrun to return to find out if I have actually improved or not! Day 248 for me after getting a streak saver out of the way before the return to work today after 159 days.

Day 148 for me with 4.5 miles...managed to get up earlier than usual for a change. Bazoaxe, it is feeling autumnal now...no huge surprise as it's the last week in August.

Hello, SC!

Day 156 yesterday. Still going. Contemplating my 44-miler in September and the impact I expect it to have on my streak.

The 44 miler counts nicely as a day’s run. A mile the day before won’t do you any harm, and a mile or two steadily away the day after will do you a power of good ;-)

Day 24 for me today. This week is more of a challenge as have early starts at work. Have to go out the moment I get home or I’ll crash on the sofa dribbling all afternoon 😴

Synge what is the 44 that you’re doing?
I wouldn’t worry too much about the streak, after a good rest you’ll be able to creak out something, sometime, the next day😉 At least that’s what I’m telling myself as I’ve a 40 miler that I’m doing mid Nov🙄

Dunc, it’s the Endurancelife Classic Quarter from the Lizard to Lands End. Looking forward to a good day out, but expecting to be fairly immobile the next day and I’ll have to drive three hours home at some point too!

I’m thinking that I’ll have a go at a mile sometime on that day, as I’d like to keep the streak going until the end of 2020 at least, but won’t be heartbroken if I can’t do it.

What’s your event?
