Getting bought out of a partnership I was leaving was a laborious and unpleasant business.

I'll be getting my £600 in October and then another £600 when I retire in December. A Think I've said before that I've spent my entire working life with one company developing a single suite of software.

My gut feeling is that this won’t be the right thing to do, but it is worth finding out for sure. I can only do this in the first year of LGPS membership so I have until March 2023 Advantages: The transfer in would presumably “buy more service / pension” within LGPS Disadvantages: The value of this pension is 15% down since Putin invaded Ukraine. I lose the flexibility of having two separate pots - being able to access the Aviva one while still working for example
