Morning folks - an update to the post I made on Jan 31. I had a call with my boss and HR last week and the good news is that they are making me redundant! My last day at work is officially Feb 28th but I will take 2 days leave so my actual finish date is now Feb 26th.

It does pay to be wait some of the time - I get a modest redundancy package which is a bonus as I was planning on leaving anyway.

Signed all the paperwork yesterday and found my IT access all stopped today which is a bit of a pain as I wanted to sort out retaining my work mobile phone number which I have had for over 20 years.

dobbers - mine was easy, just a walk into the Vodafone shop to set a date for the change. I don’t remember involving the company or IT.
