Just booked a house for a week on Cornwall SWCP. For Friday. That's what you can do when you're not bored, but retired. With just on 30% off the price because it's last minute. |

Another 10 days left in the biggest apple producing area of Portugal, then we have a shortish interrail break to support my daughter and her husband in the Berlin marathon (target times 3:45 and 3:59:59), followed by a week by Lake Constance/Bodensee with three of us running (HM for SiL and quarter marathon for me snd my daughter) and heading back to Portugal towards the end of October. Bored? Never.

After a week in the Algarve I think I might have changed my mind about retiring here, not that it was ever more than a fantasy. I think I’d be bored and prone to drinking too beer and vino tinto. One of the good things about working is that, not only do you get paid for it but you don’t spend much money while you’re doing it. |

Boredom hasn't come into it yet in the Ness household. I would definitely recommend retirement living!
