A year and a day since I retired, loved every minute. Heard of an old workmate last week that passed suddenly at 60. No regrets. |

Gosh, that's sad Ally. 5 years to 60 for me and death isn't really a great end of work option, is it? I'm working on it... #sigh. Well done all of you who have started your best part of your life. G

(Though I may have been in denial for the first couple of months despite knowing that they weren't going to 'phone me up and ask me to go back because they hadn't made any attempts to retain my much more diligent and people-pleasing colleague the previous year.)

Two years and three months since I was officially retired. I had been economically inactive for 15 months prior to that though. Living on savings and Mr Ness' pension.
