Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ooooo, I love a good bit of alliteration, Sharkie, I might steal that one :D

For me it's hopefully going to be more of the same as since the start of September:
* walk the dogs as often as possible
* lift heavy things and put them down again, at least once a week

and two minor additions

* remember how to do stroke drills in the pool, and then go do them!
* go for a run outside at least once a week

‘More of the same since September ‘ is actually quite brilliant, if you think about it.

Thanks :)

I'm quietly chuffed with how the lifting heavy things and putting them down again is going. Most importantly I'm really enjoying it, and only slightly less importantly, I'm seeing progress (because I'm still in the novice stage where improvement happens quickly, sure, but I'll take it!).

Hiya :) I'm in :)

My Lockdown Countdown COULD be to go to work every day and count a few more pennies into my Post-Lockdown Blowout Fund, but it's not. Building on my October plan, I'm going to lift weights twice a week (though I'll mostly skip Legs Day) and continue to include one faster running session every week. I could do both of these things even if Lockdown became House Arrest.

Did both yesterday. DOMS today, but not badly.

A furloughed horse made me giggle :)

Nano for me: finishing my book proposal, resubmitting my paper, maybe starting another one. Third project, maybe too much with marking, let’s see!

I considered Nanowrimo but think I have enough writing to do with my continuing daily blogs - coming up for SEVEN years end of Dec. I really need to write something better than the five lines submitted on the train this morning.

Am now in Dalston.
