Gav, yeah 3 a week most weeks. Problem is even with that, I'm not slim or toned really so wondered if I should be doing more? Or harder stuff? Or should I add in specific session just for Abs/Obliques to help strengthen my core and tone up? What is apparent at races and club is that I'm pretty big for a runner and I think my times would get better if I wasnt so ..'chunky'. I hoped that doing cross training in classes as well as running would make me smaller i.e less fat, more toned etc.. but it doesn't seem to have.
I am going to try and get some sort of result by January by being 100% consistent and work really hard with it all as well as running.
I will follow this thread and others' progress and see what ideas, inspiration I can get from you all

Phew!! That wasnt too bad, managed about 45 seconds on each exercise. Anything that involves the 'v shape' had me toppling over, definite work needed there. I reckon this one will do me though, like the fact i dont have to count or time cause the gut does it for me!

Starting with just a 10 min workout a couple of times a week is a good way to get started. Make core work a *habit*, like going for a run
I spend far too much time on Fetch - I'm always around to give people a kick if they want!
