siouxsie, i'd say same. if i could consistently do what u listed tgere i'd feel was enuf. i found spin worked core too, up out o seat, lean left n right. do you do all that? core is one exercise u can do every day, unlike arms, legs, chest which need rest. also remembrr that core is back as well as front. Runa in 3:15 thread was reminding us of that. do u do 3 classes ev week Siouxsie? congrats on Ab mara time btw! :-)G

I'll dip in here for inspiration n tips, but won't offer to buddy up, if that's ok. i found i didn't keep my pestering going when I was signed up to lazybones thread. Might wgpswim today. another great x train n core, espesh crawl n backstoke. do crawl right and it's like a plank for 30 mins. ouch!! :-)G

Im A Runner
This sounds great. I've cancelled my gym membership recently so have decided to try and do core work at home. I'm a lazy person when it comes to core work but I know I need to pick it up now, my motivation is I've ran two sub 4 marathons this year without any real core work so with core work I could be better. I the the Core H workout looks good although some of it I may struggle to hold for the full 60 seconds at first.
Just a quick question then, I plan on trying to do two sessions, maybe three a week on my non running days, sound good?

:)G - I was hoping it was going to be more along the lines of "Oi! TT! done you core work yet?" rather than an official pestering type thing

Just about to go and try that Core H one now. Haven't actually watched the vid all the way through, so most of it will be a surprise!

REALLY enjoyed that!! A couple of them I even lasted the full minute!
I like the fact that it is timed rather than counting number of reps. The only exercise I didn't like was the "sit ups" one, I always seem to hurt my neck when I try to do sit ups, which is why I prefer crunches. When I do the workout again I would replace the sit ups with hip lifts or more crunches.
Go on...... give it a go!!
