I was supposed to be doing a 45 mile ultra tomorrow but I've been a bit unwell this week and flanker my running partner went over on his ankle a couple of days ago so it's going to be a little more modest a start I think :-/

I see a missed castle opportunity between Lichfield and Derby (ie Tamworth!), so if anyone wants to add a deviation I'll stick a refuelling station in the Castle Grounds (all Covid safe, of course!).

Chunky - I see they have implemented “no parking” cones on that stretch. I wonder if it was photographed on the day of the Cardiff Half?

Looking forward to this. Definitely seems more scenic than the virtual LEJOG I'm doing (and am unlikely to finish before August).
