I'm under orders to not log any more training today so the elder can catch up, so it looks like I'll be pitching the tent in this field today, right beside the A483 🙄

@sallykate - that is probably the case, yes. The route does venture onto footpaths and towpaths occasionally, so there are one or two dark patches. Sometimes, though, you might strike it lucky and land where a member of the public has created a photo sphere - in fact quite a few of the views available at the castles themselves seem to be of this variety rather than taken by the standard google camera car.
