Yes that was a real shame. It would have been interesting to see who would have been on the top step without that flat tyre, although listening to Evie post-race she sounded as though she had something left in the tank just in case :-O

I’ve just finished the Gorrick Cool MTB challenge. I never learn… I was all Yorkshire tight and decided to not top up the tyre sealant before making the journey, so ended up losing about half an hour faffing with a tyre with a small hole that didn’t want to seal.

I may blog…

Cath, Dutch tightness has been known to cause similar faffage! In stead of winning Battle on the Beach, I cam 4th after a 20 minute faff... It did result in an epic photo mind... Of me, upside down bike, peloton in the background lapping me 🙄
