Just back in from a brilliant day with the family at Glentress. Superb venue for all levels. We did a couple of laps of the upper blue circuit and then threw in the green for good measure. Littlest is only 9 and is quite wee so is riding a 20" wheel and she was bloody marvellous. Her technical skills are really improving and her balance & vision just get better and better. What a fantastic day out. :-):-)

That's good to know for next time we're that way. TheBoy is 9 and we took him to Bike Park Wales last yr and it scared him badly - he's on a 24" now and getting confident again, but it's been a slow process...

We scared her quite badly last year with a steep & rocky ride around our local quarry complex, but she's responded well to the re-boot ;-). The green is a good easy series of loops and switchbacks, not steep and soft under-tyre. The blue is more rocky and steeper but the swoopy descent back to the car park is magic.

We drove to the top and parked at the Buzzard which gave us easy access to the trails (and meant the kids weren't utterly banjaxed before they started!). It's a fiver to park all day; take change because the 'clever' card machine is often out of order.
