Twentyfour12 - definitely not hot, treacherous in fact. Still, we only went and won our category! Us, on our lil old bikes and old tired legs!

Gobi- how did they report on the conditions? As an inexperienced rider I thought they were awful (although, there's already talk of next year...)!
