Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
Today's Fetch Advent Calendar challenge is to write a letter to a Fetchie to tell them you are proud of them. I want to write it to all of you, so I am going to do so! Dear Fetchies of TBOGUA thread: You are amazing! From the starters, those who are just embarking on their journey and commitment to life with no alcohol, dealing with the cravings, the doubt, the slips, the confusion, the unhelpful reaction of others and still succeeding each day. The old guard with 10, 20, 30 or more years sober, who far from being complacent are mindful every day, inspiring us, and offering great support to everyone. And everyone in between - that is most of us, just getting on with it, every day commiting to being "In" our happy group, not polluted by the poison that is alcohol. Well done all of you, have a Happy sober Christmas and a Wonderful 2025! X G |

Quick note to swittle who was very much of the ‘old guard’ and who used to drop in here occasionally. You’re not forgotten old friend

Just popped in to wish you old or new non drinkers a careful but Merry SOBER Christmas and New Year. I remember my first Christmas back in the 80s and what I did to avoid the risks. The following year I went out and partied. You can do it SOBER you really can !!! All the best, I believe in YOU !!!!! |
