I haven't forgotten about this thread! Puppy matters have distracted me a bit over recent weeks, but I managed a 10:15 mile on this morning's run. Chipping away at it The next mile was 10:45, then finished with a 10:33.

Half marathon now done and dusted, and PT son is threatening me with speedwork as I'm targeting a 10k later in the year, so I'll continue haunting the thread.

I haven't gone to track tonight - had a very upset tummy all day :-(. It sounded like quite a tough pyramid session and I wanted to see how I coped with it so I'm disappointed.

The tired way I'm running this last few weeks makes this a target to go for! 9.59....I'll have to dig-in a bit....

Ok, I have been back to the beginning of the thread and discovered that I should start by running for 2 and a half minutes at a hardly comfortable pace, with focus on thinking tall and using arms, that 21/2 mins to be embedded in a longer run (a mile or more). I won't be doing it today, nor (probably) tomorrow but Monday looks likely.
Also quite chuffed to find that despite my IT idiocy I am better at getting my Garmin to do what I want it to do than some other people on this thread seem to be.
