Good luck fasters :)

Another 1lb off for me which makes it 27lbs in total since I started 5:2. My bmi has gone from 28 to 23. :)

Gogsy!
You can tell it's a fast day when you can actually smell fish & chips from an internet post :-(

No loss for me this morning but then I hadn't managed my usual routine before weighing in if you get my drift ;-) but considering all the food I had at the weekend I'm still pleased with that , unrealistic to expect to loose every single week

No loss for me again this week , but no gain either so I have to be happy with that.......

Need to work on the 'Move more' side of the equation now and then hopefully I'll see some losses on the scales.....

I've only had one fast day this week, I should have fasted yesterday but I past a kidney stone on Wed night (ooooouch) so I'm feeling sorry for myself and using food for comfort. Two weeks off from Sunday so hitting it hard.

That made me cringe TJ. I've seen people come through A&E when they have had problems with kidney stones. Hope you are feeling much better today.

1/2lb on this week, not too surprised as I've been off work this week. It's a lot less than I normally put on ;-) and I'm still ahead of my 1lb a week schedule :-)

Lost 6lbs since last time I weighed myself at gym, and finally under 11 stone again. Birthday drinks last night though - a LOT of white wine, buffet and cake and feeling pretty crap today! Predict much eating :( Better get some carbs in for Smokies tomorrow though!

Hello guys, my mum needs to shift some weight so I wanted to get her a 5:2 diet book as I think it's easy to slot into ones lifestyle. There seem to be quite a few though. Do any of you have book recommendations?

(i know the concept is straight forward for the experienced but I think my mum would need the sort that has some justification that the concept works, the plan and some example meals).
