Haha, yes I am. It just about passes as a university, my campus is pretty poor to be honest.

I have fines on my library card too. We are only there 2 days a week and sometimes with block placements and study weeks/holidays it can be several weeks that we aren't there. You can renew books online but not if someone has requested the book. It's a pain in the butt. I was however very excited by the automated fancy pants machines for borrowing books. It was all grumpy librarians in my undergrad day. Less impressed by the fact library is full of socialising youngsters. Ssshhhhh!!

Our library looks more like a spaceship than a library, and there is a postgrad room we can use if we want somewhere quiet, as well as quiet space and meeting rooms and stuff you can book. I don't go there much but it's a very nice library

The library at Westminster (New Cavendish) is like a giant greenhouse, and doesn't contain a single book/journal relevant to my PhD. Luckily I only have to call in to collect IDD requests/attend training courses. I feel sorry for the library staff having to work in such unpleasant conditions. The best library I have used is ice.org.uk |

I am studying for my postgraduate MSc at Glasgow Uni. In a bit of a CBA'd rut at the moment as I have finished the teaching bit of the course and the novelty of having days off is turning into a two week do nothing holiday not so good as I have a report due on the 22nd, and exam and a dissertation to do!

Lol I also work in a uni library (not Glasgows) so I am a mixture of feeling outraged at the bloody students and partial sympathy since I'm still one as well
