We don't know. The word they used was 'paused' but for how long?

Now we've been told we can go into placement (no idea where though) for six months, as students, but not supernumerary and paid. Since final placement was 13 weeks, this makes no sense. And what will we be counted as? RNs or HCAs? What about supervision?
On top of trying to do dissertation from home with no books and also being asked to work bank shifts as HCAs, I'm so stressed.

I've heard about them doing an emergency temporary nmc register for 3rd year students but I really don't know if that's what they are doing for you đ¤ˇââī¸ doesn't really sound like it. I would try and get as many details as possible. I think the temporary register thing is voluntary so maybe those who don't want to do it work as a HCA..... I'm only making a stab in the dark. I really do advise getting proper clear details. I appreciate that this can be difficult at this time though. Very difficult for all concerned. Hope you get some clarity soon x

They're not doing an emergency register for students at this time, although it may become necessary.

There is a national plan Carp, you need to speak to your uni. An announcmemt went on blackboard yesterday to our 3rd year Bsc nursing students saying they wil get paid and the hours count as well. But they have to respond to the form from Health education England by this Friday. It's voluntary and not open to anyone with fitness to practice concerns. Hope you hear something from your uni soon.
