McGoohan Nov 2020 8:40am, 30 Nov 2020 47,469 posts	0 McGoohan A lot of these (he said, in a sweeping generalisation) maths problems aren't as hard as they first seem. IIRC often it's all about substitution. Generally you are substituting and rearranging the knowns to simplify at each stage.

I was able to get individual concepts and techniques with coaching and practice and just squeaked through the Higher then forget everything apart from how to count.
