I have 2. Son 1 is 23 and is developing himself as an instructor at an outdoor activities centre (kayaking, high ropes etc). While he's still learning and gaining qualifications he knows where he wants to end up (towards the outward bound) end of the industry.
Son 2 is 21 and had a tough time as a teenager: depression and self harming, two overdoses. Came out as transgender aged 18 and continues to suffer from anxiety. He is however in a far beter place now than he has been and us starting to think about what he wants to do.

Daughter #1 is 20. Those of you from the other thread know she has had a really tough time. Long story short she was diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder in October. She is doing well, although we had a blip at 1:30am on Saturday. All good now and at work today. She has decided against university but still not turned her place down. Suspect rather than music and RAF Music Service ( which was her dream but not now due to meds etc) she will end up going down the outdoor education route.
Daughter #2 is still a teen for another 18mths.

Still the interloper, I am pleased to report that I spotted our son tidying the kitchen while he waited for the kettle to boil yesterday.

I'm very proud of my 23 year old daughter at the moment. Her housemate decided she couldn't afford the rent on their house and Fellmouse found herself having to find a new place at very short notice. She did it without any drama, and after moving in yesterday she said, "Knowing that I can get a lease in less than 48 hours is a good life skill, I've wanted to live by myself for a while anyway, and I love my little house."

I can't accuse any of my children of lack of adaptability where living conditions are concerned. I'm pleased with this.

Our 30 y-o son isn't good at opening his post. Now he's away for a month, we are opening what seems important.
So far we have a new credit card, his old one which he has with him having expired, and a penalty notice for £2.50 when it arrived, now risen to £72.50.
