My sub 4 is now looking very unlikely. 2 weeks ago son #3 broke his leg and has been off school since which means my training has gone out the window. Have been doing my long runs but the wid weeks runs have been as and when and much less distance than I had been doing! 20 Miles tomorrow on my Todd as training partner is away. Need to plot my route and get some podcasts ready !!

Don't give up. The 20 miles and your long runs are the bedrock

You've got a load of training under your belt, RMo3B. I reckon you could still do it.

Just managed 17 today today with a parkrun in the middle. I may have left it too late for that elusive sub 4 but we shall see with 6 weeks to go to Boston.

Well, survived a 50 mile week ending with the excellent, hilly Glenkiln 12 mile road race today. 250m of climbing and I waddled round in 1:50 to end my 50 mile week, reasonably pleased.

I had a good weekends training with an unplanned tempo of 6 followed by a quality 20 yesterday. This mornings 6 mile recovery at a sedate 11 minute miles 😉

As expected, Rotterdam postponed. It's a shame as despite lack of training & eating too much, I was definitely, absolutely, no doubt going to run sub 4 😉 Hopefully it will run later in the year. Stay healthy folks
