Well done on the Pbs Rich and Jovi

Hod Depends where you are and how far you re willing to travel. Summer is always tricky as you never know if its going to be hot or not apart from the Horndon 10k last sun in June Always Hot

46.33 for me in Lincoln today puts me more or less on track. I always planned to be under 47 today and knew I wouldn't be under 45, I am still carrying a tad too much weight and I hadn't trained for it. I will have this one cracked off in the summer.

SuperDave!
I appreciate this all depends on the training programme followed but how is training for a marathon likely to affect my 10k times? would it normally improve with all the added mileage and general fitness?

Considering going for my first marathon later this year but my main focus for this year has been to reduce my 10k and Half times, so I don't want Mara training to hinder my steady progress. Any thoughts?

Thinking of Leicester in October.
