Nice gravedig. This is a distant target for me. Maybe by the end of 2016 if everything goes well.

Hello thread, I'll join in.
pb is 44.23 from 2014, but I'll try and shave a few seconds off that at my next 10k in mid January. Won't be 42, but maybe by the end of 2016 . . .

Hi team. In for a penny and all that. I set this as a goal in 2008. Yup. You read that right... buuut a couple of weeks ago I improved my pb to 43.15, having spent 4 or 5 years asking myself why my results were so sh*t. The answer, it turns out, is in order to run fast in races, you have to run fast in training. Oh. And lose weight. That helps. Anyway, this forum seems a bit quiet (time of year?). First plan is a sub 21 5k. I know I can run that, I just need to confirm it in a race.
