Woohoo I found WW’s magic shoes in a running shop on my holiday. Thought I had hit the jackpot. Then I asked to try a pair in my size, and found they only had miniature ones left. Boo. |

Did you buy the minature ones for mini me JD? I wasn’t going to say but I actually found some online and ordered another pair earlier in the week. Naughty me! On Sunday I wore the originals for the 1st time since October. 5 mile race. Hoped for 33 mins. Ran 31. Further incontrovertible science just there. 😀 |

My recent PBs at parkrun (18secs) and the half (10 minutes) were both in the magic shoes - I figure they'll pay for themselves in prize money sooner or later

Did think of picking up a pair and flogging them on eBay - there are a handful on offer at crazy prices But they probably aren’t actually selling. The guy claiming to have a pair of size 11 has zero feedback which is hardly encouraging. Anyway another batch will be along eventually I’m sure. It was fun to actually touch one at least! |

Seems unlikely, not least because the initial price (£131) looks more like the (visually similar and still pretty great) Zoom Fly, rather than the Vaporfly.

LMH - was there meant to be a link there? The Magic shoes are the "Zoom Vaporfly 4%"s, with carbon fibre from Alderaan, and an upper hand-stitched by Legolas himself. WW - scrutinizing that picture, definately the Zoom Flys, not the 4%s. Could be some unhappy shoppers there. |
