I’ll do it at lunchtime when I’ve got a bit more time, LindsD (I warn you it’s extremely unscientific and cobbled together from a couple of PT sessions at the gym and t’inernet, but it’s something!)

I'm inspired by the tidiers. I am hopelessly untidy and getting worse.
'My' room here at the seaside is such a private mess that no-one is allowed into it. .B. has been to our house loads of times but she's never seen beyond the firmly shut door to my room.

Starting from today I will spend 15 minutes a day (minimum) getting to grips with the jumble sale behind the door.

Here's a nicely out of focus pic of the surface debris....

3 bags: charity, recycling and rubbish. Clear the floor first, make a pile of stuff to go to other rooms without taking them there. These things are much easier to do with company though I find!

Reporting back after a solid half hour. I started on the bookshelves - out of view behind the sofa. Loads of 'saved' magazines I just threw away without re-reading. I can't let go of my Vogues and Athletic Weeklies - but they are regularly culled and I've stopped buying AW anyway.

There's more to life than tidying and this all prob belongs on the decluttering thread - which I direct people to. No-one wants to read about my chucking outs!

I NOW have some time for drawing this affie.

And my athetics DOING stuff.

I'm like 99% confident the person who emailed me about an apartment in Brussels was a scammer, so that's rubbish. Another agency has got back to me about a very cute little studio, but I can't make any of the viewing dates so I think I'll probably miss out on it :(

I had an appointment this morning with the Gemeente (local council) to get some paperwork I need for the security clearance process, though, so that is also progress.

OK, Maz’s Lunchtime Weights...
I use a barbell. Don’t see why you couldn’t use a kettlebell or dumbbells or a handy brick. This is not specifically training *for* anything, I just wanted some kind of weights stuff I could fit in to half an hour.

All 10 reps x 3, with the heaviest weight you can do the full 10 with without damaging yourself).

Squats (I do back squats with a bar)
Chest press (lying)
Deadlift
Bent over row

Plus stretching after.

According to the nice 12 year old PT at the gym, cos these are all compound movements you use more of your body in less time; this probably doesn’t even take 30 minutes.
