Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Yessssssssssssssssssssssss!

You can be unimpressed with me because I've found excuses for not doing my October Thing in October, like a virtual marathon and a week's holiday when I'll probably not run at all. I'll find a new Thing.

I wish to make it explicit that I was recommending wall planners for OTHER people who have a history of liking to see everything neat and organised and written down. I shall continue to work from a calendar made of shapes and colours in my head, because I do a simple sport.

Point taken.
I like to see my options written down as I am a bear (or shark) of limited (very little) brain space.

*immediately worried that I was the slacker that wasn't quite good enough*

I think I have a new goal for October - to start believing that I am in fact good enough. Heavy huh!

that's a good one, but a bit hard to measure.

I am definitely the slacker, as I only went swimming in the pool once. But that's OK. The first time is the hardest, especially at the moment.

I seem to recall Pix saying something similar at the start of this thread.

Good enough for what, halfpint? Once you know what the task is, you can gather the evidence :)
