Mrs Jigs (Luverlylegs)
Everyone is doing so well
I also started a new pair of shoes last week.
I painted the bedside cabinets, need another coat today.
I am more than two thirds of the way through Run the Sum.
Going to (hopefully) buy some rockery stones to finish the pond edging later today.
Jigs doesn’t post here but he did a new thing over the weekend, he has built a hedgehog house for winter hibernation

You are a shining light as ever, Mrs. J. We wouldn't have the thread (which is pretty good fun, I admit) if it wasn't for you!

I swim with my head out of the water, because I swim in my contact lenses (I know, I know). It’s one of the many reasons I swim like a brick.
I’m a big fan of re-painting furniture. I managed to get a table and 2 chairs that way for £20 plus about £10 worth of paint.

I wear contacts when doing tri events but wear goggles - no point using prescription goggles as I wouldn't be safe on the bike! I get told off by the optician

Oh I disagree Sharkie, you started these threads a couple of years ago to my knowledge
Maz the pine bedside cabinets I bought second hand 30 years ago, the pine headboard which have also painted is around 30 years, it was time for a change

I swim in contacts and non prescription goggles, too, but I pacified my optician by promising to only use disposables for that (and longer lasting ones for other non glasses compatible activities like rugby and moshing).

I only use contacts for long outside bike rides, proper long runs and OW swimming My daily disposables last forever! My current lot are recent purely because I used a lot when cycling to/from hospice for dad last year

Pottery was soooo lovely! Lots of squealing as the gang was back again, the teacher said she couldn’t sleep for excitement last night She’s running lots of extra classes this year and has ambitions to take over our town and make potters of everyone. Love her!!
