Came back up the A591 through the lakes with no bother. Worst was Dunmail which you’d expect but just a ridge down the middle of each lane.
Nothing at home when we landed but snowing now.

Maximum of 8” settled here today, it made a walk very hard work and I don’t think the council know what a snow plough is. I cleared my car this afternoon in anticipation of work tomorrow, and OH dug trenches off the drive, but it’s started again and is now white over and laying again. Not looking forward to trying to get to work. 😬

There are lots of very large snowmen though, and even several decent igloo attempts, and loads of families out sledging, so it was nice today.
