Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I got notifications, but it was cloudy :-( so I didn't bother looking.

I got notifications too. I got a faint red glow on camera. Then it clouded over and after it cleared nothing.

As well as Aurora Watch UK I’ve found this app quite good
‘My Aurora Forecast’

The warnings are more in advance and there’s a map showing real time sightings-there were quite a few in the uk and some not far from me.

I personally find the Glendale app aurora-alerts.uk by far the best, with very detailed advanced information.
Earthsky also gives good information earthsky.org

Localish friends shared photos of Aurora last night we were out with friends I went outside but sadly nothing to see.
