We had a left over chicken and chorizo stew tonight with mash and veg it always seems to taste so much better after a sleep in the deep freeze.
Got a few meals in there so an easy(ish) few days this week.
I’ll then get back to cooking and freezing next week.
Loving hearing the recipes you’ve tried - keeping my inspiration going.

We had a black bean chilli thing yesterday that was a bit watery and tasteless. After a night in the fridge it seemed to thicken and develop a bit more flavour today...

Trying a sausage and onion mix with stock and chutney. No idea if it will be ok but smells fruity! Where do people get their ideas from?

Sloppy Joes were yummy (but the kids had eaten slightly more than their fair share by the time Mr AL & I got back!)

Not done a sausage casserole in the slow cooker for ages. Must do it again for one of these cold evenings.

Irish sausage stew simmering in slow cooker for tonight’s tea, although I’m working from home so it may not last that long

Peanut chicken went down well last night. Not sure how it was supposed to be prepped in 10 minutes :-O. Maybe if you’d already chopped the onion, chilli, garlic and bought the chicken ready-diced... working at pace prep time still took about 30 minutes. Tasted good though
