We are reaping rewards of the doubling up cooking meals tomorrow. Chicken & chorizo stew on the menu. It was lovely so hopefully even better tomorrow.

Does the peanut chicken taste very peanut buttery? I am a peanut butter hater but I do like a satay and peanuts in their whole form.

It's more of a limey satay taste, geordiegirl (OH just squeezed a couple of small limes in). Was a bit spicier than expected, but not hot.

I have three meals in the freezer for this week that I've previously 'batch cooked'. Spaghetti bolognese, winter stew and chilli con carne. Tonight and Wednesday I have meals sorted already and yesterday I made all the lunches for the week. I feel awesome! That winter stew is delicious really looking forward to having that again 😀

I have a beef casserole in the slow cooker, there is always enough for 4 so two portions go in the freezer.

Home from work and my casserole is cooked. Transferred tonight's portions into a pan to simmer when I boil the potatoes (forgot to put them in the cooker along with beef) and then transferred the rest into a plastic container to freeze. I also had too much veg for the pot so about to make a pan of soup that will do a couple of days.

Orange chicken made and eaten here. I liked it - I had mine at 8 o'clock - but the half 5 eaters said theirs was a bit too watery. So much for cheap chicken!
