Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds like everyone has had a lot to contend with while the thread has been quiet - sometimes we need a bit of quietness, and let's face it, even without health/wellbeing/financial stuff going on we're living in weird times.

I'm glad to see your avatars pop up and to hear how you're all doing, although for manyI'd love it if I could wave a magic wand. The one thing that stays constant with this thread is that people care x

Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ nice to see this thread pop up again. Lives have been busy and stressful by the sound of it so Iโ€™m sending hugs to all that need them (((( ))))
Iโ€™ve struggled to get any pace to my running this year then had Covid which took about a month to fully recover from, particularly the breathlessness. Iโ€™m now at peace with my very slow pace ๐Ÿ˜

Great to see Fetchies popping back in here - especially after a tough couple of years that have affected all of us in more ways than one.

Although we may not be happy with pace, etc. and it is tough to get back in to things (like moving oneโ€™s feet ๐Ÿ‘ฃ) we can do it - letโ€™s remove the pressure of what we could do and celebrate what we can do ๐Ÿฅฐ

Wise words WP. I want to enjoy going for a run, like I used to, and can only do that if I stop comparing now with then and accept my pace as it is.

Hi gang, just caught up with the last few posts. *waves*

I note that Gimme last posted on the day I became an OAP and our lovely Queen died.

The world keeps on turning and I'm still plodding along - I seem to be getting slower, not faster, but I am still doing it. :)

What a great thread. Iโ€™m resigned to not being able to run as fast as I used to (even though itโ€™s frustrating sometimes).

Just happy to be able to keep plodding.
