Forward planning a bit I know . . . but I've just put my name down for this if anyone fancies ambling round it too?

Wow Mulbs that looks a great event. I am not sure if I am doing any more long distance events now, I am waiting to see how my health pans out in the next few months and will see how I am next year. I have no idea how I did three marathons this spring.

EB good luck with your miles target for the month. MM really hope you are better now.

Now come on Ireland, Mr Lemon is counting on you! 🍀

honestly, my experience of 50k events as a SAPper rather than a racer is that it's like an all day all you can eat buffet with a bit of running and walking thrown in, don't be frightened by the distance, it's a different mindset to a marathon event. I blogged about my first one a couple of years ago - let me check what year/month . . .

Fragile Do Not Bend
That does look tempting, especially with the no cut off time.

That's an awfully long way mulbs, but you'll manage it, no problem. :)

MM, glad you're finally improving, make sure you take an extra day or two when you think you're better to really make sure that everything's finally bogged off.

I went for a run last night - too much walking involved, but never mind. This morning I went to check out the new PT. We did a few exercises and I think he'll be okay. I said that I want some kind of accountability so we'll see how that pans out. I did some weighted squats and immediately had OMS, no Delay about it anywhere! :-o He reckoned it was because I still had lactic in my quads from running. I start properly next Wednesday and may go twice some weeks.

I'm signed up for London to Brighton in May as a jogger so I'm really tempted by this as I should be recovered or dead one of the two 🤣 I done a 25k on the isle of wight beginning of this year and it was good. I like the idea of no cut off, food and a day out doing something I love.
