Well after being kicked all over for the last few days by my totm I got home from work and didn't feel knackered! Hmm decided to put my kit on and just get out there which I did. I told myself 2 miles would be enough maybe 3 but ended up doing 5! Really chuffed not only with doing 5 but the fact that I ran after work which is virtually unheard of for me 😀

Well done EB :-)

I am making a point of not looking at any links to races that you guys share from now on!! I am a good couple of years away from doing anything like that - I *might* manage a half by this time next year.

Hope you're feeling better now MM

Thank you both 😀

My run tonight can I put it in the SAP 5 mile race for November? Not done it before... I've added it to my race profile but not sure if I can do it until the 19th?

Don't see why not, EB. I only do the mile ones atm, but just log a mile split from whatever my nearest run to the day is.

Well done EB, you can use it for the SAP 5 if you like but I don't think you can update it before the due date. You might even do another one at the weekend. ;-)

MM, hope you can manage it okay by then, sounds like you're finally on the way back up.

It was our club marshalls run tonight for our race the weekend after next. I know it's not a very long run so did a mile warm-up before meeting them - my mashed quads needed loosening up first :-o - then as we'd all done it before we just did a run to the clifftop and back. That's it for me now until my race on Sunday, which will see me go over 600 for the year.
