I got my long run in this morning finally, before my race next week, beautiful morning for it but walked a bit more than I wanted to and chose a lovely scenic route for a Sunday morning. :)

Well done AR. Was lovely here too, although the wind had a bit of a cold bite to it. Went out with a few peeps from running club this morning, down by the Thames at Rainham Marshes, various abilities, and all at different stages of training for various events. I'd planned to do at least 3, but there was a guy who's just returned to running and was going to do a 10 min out and back so I ran with him - we ended up doing 15 mins out and back, slightly over 2 miles :-) I was going to go out later and do a run/walk with my friend but her back is playing up again, so will probably just go out and do another couple on my own this evening.

Good running Alpen and Kwala. I did a slow five miles today in my usual out and back route. There was a cold wind today, on the first mile I thought about cutting it short to 3 miles but I kept going for the five and just pulled my hat further down over my ears to try and keep the wind out!

Well done Kwala - you are going great. I am aching after my parkrun yesterday and am finding muscles in places I didn't know I had ;-)

Good on you Alpen, nothings beats a scenic run :-)

I have been dog walking today, Heidi the Dacshund liked me to I took her for a lil walk and have agreed to walk her a few times a week - more in my blog.

Have a great week everyone.

Well done for sticking to your plan Lem :-)

MM - really hope all these bugs leave you alone soon :-(

Worked out a bug busting route for this afternoon - thought it would be about 3miles, but ended up being 4!! Managed it in 55:20 so kept under 14min miles - looks like Thursday wasn't a fluke!!

Wom - is your blog buddies as I couldn't see it?

Wom, that's the best of both worlds, finding someone else's dog to walk. :)

Lem, glad you managed to get out and do your 5.
kwala, go you, running twice in a day. :) I think you should log your second run as a long run.

Just popping my head in quickly during my lunch. Kwala your doing great! Will pop over to your blog later WW. MM can't believe you're still struggling bloody bugs! ☚ī¸ Lem10 well done for sticking to the plan for 5

I've been keeping up with bootcamp and PT but not a lot of running so forced myself out for 3 miles thus morning. I think I can still make my 75 for the month but need to keep focused 😕
